it's something that is in your mind,
will start small. but soon will grow
you'll find it gets you into trouble
or sometimes helps you glow
it's nothing out of ordinary

but we all make a fuss about it

it is always all around us
it can never go away
even if you shut it out,
it's sure to beat you at your game
and although it takes ahold of you,
you cannot touch it in return
